In order to earn at least $500 per week, you must invest at least 5 hours of work in an internet based business, or work 40 hours per week at a job paying $12.50/hour. If you work at least 10 hours per week in an internet based business, and invest at least $100 per week in advertising, you should earn up to $2,000 to $4,000 per month.

If you work at least 20 hours per week in an internet based business, and invest at least $250 per week in advertising, you should earn $4,000 to $6,000 per month.

If you have no money to invest into starting your own business, you may want to look into affiliate programs offerred on the Internet. Some programs allow you to sell products without an investment on your part. However, the long term profit potential may not be as great as a business that you can grow and earn residual income where you don't have to spend as much time, money and energy. 

If you have $500 to $999 dollars to start a business, it should be an Internet based business that pays you residual income with a high profit margin. This amount of money is not sufficient to start a brick and mortar, traditional business.

If you invest $1,500 to $3,000 in an Internet based business, and have a weekly budget of $250 to spend on advertising, you should be able to earn a six figure income with the right business.
